| Greetings,
If you're curious about learning more about The Confederation or have a specific question that you'd like to ask, feel free to post here. I believe The Confederation has a unique and rich history and often times we don't realize the amount of people this clan has actually impacted.
So feel free to think of any questions that you may have. I can't answer all of them, but I have been around since 2007 so I will do my best.

If you're talking about members from when the clan was first started up, then no. Though you can view some of ConFed's greatest members via the Legends Page. It's unfortunate that a lot of members who have contributed a lot to the clan aren't on this page. The last Confederation member to be inducted to Legend status was Dasha. I was the next to last member of the Brood War era back when I was known as A1a3a1.

I'm sorry I can't answer all of the questions / may have some incorrect information. I'm only extremely confident in the past 6-8 years or so of Confederation history.

| Ok so ill add my two cents.
1. I am second most "OG" member of this clan, next too zertoss
2. The starcraft part of the clan was started by "clark" there was never really a diablo clan, just a group of friends who got board with diablo 1, and started playing starcraft. It was in starcraft that they formed "The Confederation"
3. I am unsure how long the old "OG" website had been around, although the forum on said websites first post was in November of 2005 I believe it was around then. Im also pretty sure "KiLLer" made it while in college/
4. SyXx our former president was amazing at starcraft, he was one of the best in the clan, other then some of the keepers. But he was good enough that the keepers that were better then him still respected him enough to take orders. When sal did play sc2 when it first came out he was one of the best in the clan. He played furing the beta.
5. This website has been around since early march.
6. The Confederation as you know it now was reformed by Crunchy, and myself. We also got a lot of help at the first week when I convinced Oblivion too rejoin.
7. Fun fact crunchy, oblivion, and myself have all been banned from the clan at one time or another for "Treason"
infact my first climb to power, and rank of Vice Admiral was when I was the ranking member online during a channel bot flood. See back in the day there were these things called "bots" and you could use some kind of internet wizardry too make thousands of them constantly log on and off of the clan channel which at the time was "op Confed" this was because we didn't have enough warcraft 3 cd-keys to form an actual "clan channel" so "op Confed" was constantly flooded. Now this one time in January of 2008 I was on winter break from college. A young member "crunchy" allied himself with vulture[uf] and others and flooded out the channel. it was like this all day until I got on got what members I could together in another channel op War Room. I was able to text sal while he was at work and give him intel. We waited out the storm until syXx came home form his job and swung the ban hammer swift and hard. And for that I was promoted too Vice Admiral. Then our dear Fleet Admiral known then as a1a3a1 left The Confederation out of frustration, and joined "The Conclave" a carbon copy of "The Confederation" it failed. He was welcomed back, and in true confederation spirit allowed to rise through the ranks too which in turn I believed humbled him, and made him the great leader he is today. The same goes for our Dear Leader Crunchy he too rejoined and worked up literally through every rank and became president.
I believe that me, Crunchy, and oblivion were all members of the confederation in what I like to call the "golden era" we had 6 six ships, 4 captains, 2 admirals, and a fleet admiral, plus a commamdant, president, vp, cda, and csa. we had give or take 200 active members, and almost 500 registerd members. The only reason the old clan failed is because of blizzard not releasing sc2 with clan support.

| Very good story JDman but what is the clans history with rivalries and why we don't have any now? I know Conclave was the opposite of this clan but was there any others that we competed with till the end of the BW era?

| The confederation really never had any rivals. When we did clan war the keepers and syXx did it all. And we always won. We were too big and too active to have any real rivals. However there were a lot and I me A LOT of former members, who would get rubbed the wrong way by SyXx and would leave. This unfortunately happened too much. He ruled with an iron fist not caring about anyone's opinion but his own. Anyhow most of these people who left would form a copy of the clan in some way such as. United Federation, they did most of the channel flooding. Then there was Dark Swarm, like confed but just Zerg based. Then there was conclave, which was short lived, and then there was The republic, but that was real short too. Those are what I can remember now. Part of the problem was that SyXx had a rule that we really couldn't go to other clan channels, and people would want to have a "war" with us but he would ignore them, and make it illegal for us to talk to them. Which might sound odd but SyXx was just as involved with the SSA alas he was the Keepers. There was a bunch of people part of a-6 which would go under cover and infiltrate clans and report back to him.

| During our peak it would be a struggle to get into the channel. We were constantly maxed out at 50. Though this problem was compounded by the fact that a lot of members had bots at the time that would idle in the channel as well as their SC account.
Bots had the tag "Sentry-Oblivion" and you were only allowed one in the channel.

| The Confederation had a very strong polarizing effect on SC/SC:BW. For the most part, we were the brunt of extreme BM. This was caused by our size. A lot of dedicated players back in the BW era had been apart or simply had known someone who was in ConFed at one time or another. A lot of members, especially who were high ranked have been rubbed the wrong way a few times / exiled or banned by past leadership which caused some tension in the community. Though, we were still respected and very few clans tried to challenge us in any way, shape, or form. Most of the attacks on our channel were orchestrated by a small select group.
Hope that answers your question. Even though we put up with a lot of BM from the community, we were respected at the same time. While other clans faded away, we still remain(ed).

| Aweseome - this clan sounds like a Pheonix, resurrected and back with fury - glad to be part of it. I would say that it seems we have masters, diamonds, platinums, golds, slivers, everything, which allows us to compete on all levels, which is really cool.

| rofl at the Thug188.tripod.com. The clan died awhile back and Thug decided to bring it back to life. I had been running the website and he couldn't get ahold of me so he put that one up. I made the first version of the site that the older members would remember back when I was in middle school with a little help from some friends (and some ripping off from lavos.) When I was in college I did a big revamp and added a ton of functionality to it.
I honestly think all the functionality we had on our website combined with the dedication of our members to keep everything up to date is what really helped our clan come back with a vengeance when most of the other clans were falling apart. It's also funny how many people threatened to hack my site, yet over the 10+ years I hosted it, it never went down.
For the record, SyXx really did help create this clan from the beginning, and he was a keeper back when I joined. we had a lot of good gamers back then, but the game wasn't very competitive. When we moved over to iccup we started getting more competitive, but our lineup really was changing alot. I think I was around a C+, but we had guys that were A-. Not sure if you guys still use teamspeak or not, but communication is what wins a lot of games, and typing in a game doesn't cut it.
I also want to mention one thing, over all the years I was on bnet there were tons of different clans out there, but you couldn't throw a rock in a channel without hitting a guy that knew about confed.

I remember confederation.ath.cx 
I was both the newest and the last member of the site/ConFed
when ConFed had shut down completely in May of 2012.
I remember I was recruited by a Terran player named Zerg, whom I can't seem to find online these days.
After ConFed had shut down, I joined Relentless Heroes (a.k.a, Clan RH) and left the clan
about 9 months later 
I remember when HoTS came out, I was in a game with ol' ThuG when CrunChy suddenly joined the Party
and re-recruited me into ConFed
Sorry for the long reply xD I just was reminiscing a little bit about old ConFed memories from about 3 years back

I remember 3 years back, when I first joined ConFed.
I was 12 years old, in Middle School, living in Chicago, shy, and tiny af. I was like 4 foot 10 inches LOL.
Now I'm 15 years old, in High School, living in Indiana, confident, and reasonably taller. I'm 5 foot 10 inches now
What really strikes me though is that when I first joined ConFed, we only had about 38 members (including me). Now we literally have too many people submitting applications to us xD
I also never thought I would become Vice-Admiral of CFS-Lexington. The last rank I held before ConFed was disbanded was Master Sergeant of CFS-Champlain.
This clan and I both grew so much both in size and in value, it truly is amazing.

| When I first joined this clan we had 325 members, 6 Ships (CFS-Saratoga, CFS-Excalibur, CFS-Lexington, CFS-Avatar, CFS-Meridian, CFS-Divinity), 2 Fleets, Full CRA, Keepers, High Command, and some SSA. Attempting to get into the channel was almost impossible due to the 50 person cap.
Over time I have seen this clan prosper and decline, but regardless of the situation there have been amazing friends, mentors, and leaders that I have met through this clan. ConFed is more than a clan, it's a family and an experience that lives with you forever.
Grateful to be back again and here's to the continued success and future of ConFed!

| hehe also rember keeper-debt teaching all us newbies how to play the very first time I joined. also remember watching the replay of tinkles(aka keeper-dark) play keeper-axe and beating him with just probes for the most part. axe was pretty upset after that match imagine lol.

| Miracle in my opinion from my time around has been the best player to ever be a part of ConFed. Miracle was 4 times GrandMasters in Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm. He was our Sky Marshall in HoTS but for some reason abruptly went MIA.
I believe that he may have passed away. I knew he had some health problems and everything he used all stopped at the same date, Facebook/Skype/SC2.
Hope he's alright.
