Stepping down as Fleet Admiral

| Hello members of the UMC,
When I join ConFed I did so as a bronze scrub with ideas of grandeur in Starcraft 2. As a player of SC1 and Brood War it makes no sense how long it took me to get onto the SC2 bandwagon.
It wasn't until I saw a ConFed member play in a peepmode that I saw skill for the first time in SC2 and I saw what I wanted to be. I asked that person to train me and sure enough they introduced me to ConFed and took the time to teach me the game. Something I have seen happen to many members that have come and gone.
Confed also got me through a really tough time when I split with my wife, and for that I will always be grateful.
I've put my all into being Fleet Admiral, a position many thought I wouldn't be able to do due to time differences being in Australia. i sacrificed a lot of sleep and a lot of time I should have spent on my studies but it was all worth it. I have made many friends and had a great time.
Unfortunately I have taken a double load for my last semester at Law School and I am on a path to move to the United States which is going to take a lot of time and effort. I am finding it increasingly difficult to give the clan the time it deserves and as I always want to do what is right for the clan I feel giving somebody else the opportunity to invest their time into this position and inject some new car smell into the UMC would be better than me being a placeholder.
As such I have decided to step down from the position of Fleet Admiral until the time I can offer the activity I have, and have been known to give, in the past.
I want to thank you all for the opportunity to be in such an important position of the BEST Starcraft 2 clan in the world. I want to thank all of my Admirals and Captains who currently or have served under me in the past.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for being Fleet Admiral for as long as you were. You assumed the position when ConFed's future was bleak, and many successes later, the clan looks to be in a much better state than it ever was as we approach LoTV.
With that being said, I do believe you're one of the best Fleet Admirals we ever had. You're definitely the best and most consistent Fleet Admiral we had in HoTS.
Now that you've paid your dues to the clan, you have the freedom to do whatever your time permits. I truly enjoyed being your 2nd in command and I pity those that never had/will have the pleasure and honor of serving under your command.

| I have been witness to 8 fleet Admirals in my time as a member of this clan, and held the position myself. I can honestly say in all of that time doadrift you are the best fleet admiral we had. As ZZZ said you inherited a mess and turned it into something great, even in the death spiral of activity. You organized a ship wars during the summer months. During your time as fleet admiral you worked hard to make the umc work agian. In doing so you often fought with others as your new ideas went against the grain I would know as I often fought with you. You could of given up and walked off but you stuck with it even when it started to affect your personal life. I hope you enjoy retirement and rest easy knowing that the changes you brought are good ones and will probably stick around to help future members of UMC command continue the good work your started. The umc is the heart of the confederation and you got it beating agian. Thank you.

We have only chatted a few times but you are a stand up guy and a great fleet admiral. Its been great having you in that position and I know when time permits you'll be back and whipping some new bloods into shape. Hope your adventure with law school and the move to the US goes well.
