| What I like is how formal things are here in the clan, everything is so well set and neat, and people that read and pay attention are rewarded.
The only thing I could point out that I haven't liked is that I read that at the end of the month for every 15 posts or so in the forusm you would get reputation points, I reached the quota a few days before last month ended but I didn't get rewarded for that, not sure if It's because the information is outdated or because I understood things the wrong way, but other than that I really like what the clan haves, especially the tournaments!

| Role play as in? I am en elven warrior role-play Comit?
I dislike the infrequency of tournaments, although I understand the effort that goes into organizing and casting one so I have no complaints about our current format. I wish I had more time available to spend interacting with Clan-Mates and I hope our clan grows more active on the forums.

| @ tenshender The confederation has a deep rich history of role play. If the old website was still running this aspect of the clan would be easier to point out. The role play is more of people knowing and understanding the ranks. Also respecting those who have higher rank. The old clan was run like a para military group. While this modern version is more loose on the who is in charge of who. But following and understanding who had a higher rank then you is something that made the core of the clan so strong, and many of us veterans miss it

| I'm a literal veteran : ) respecting rank structure is something I've done for quite a long time and I enjoy practicing it regularly in chat.

| Ive talked about it a lot in other places so I will just mention it here, It being how the KEEPERS branch isn't as active as it once was.
There is also very little on this forum that actually pertains to StarCraft, I'm pretty sure 75% of forum posts are in the category of a "game." I mean I post in them too, but It is pretty much the only active threads in the forum. All other sections seem dead.
The last thing is that its not really something I like or dislike I just find it weird. The ranking system seems mostly based on time requirements with very minor StarCraft related requirements, like 10 wins or something of the sorts. I understand time requirements reward loyalty but it seems like it also offers a tendency for the ranks to become top heavy, which makes the ranking system as a whole if everyone is sitting at the top with the same rank.

| Hey Shazam,
Thanks for your amazing observations. I will try to address them as best as I can.

This is very true, our Keepers branch is barely active and this is an issue that we are quite aware of. There are several excellent players within the clan that hopefully will be able to help get our Keepers branch back on the map. Though, becoming a Keeper is a very hard job that requires a lot of dedication and skill. This will not happen overnight, but I thank everyone in advanced for their patients.

When I originally joined the clan, the forums were an area for members to interact with one another outside the bounds of Starcraft and strategy. Though, there is no issue with utilizing the sections dedicated for Starcraft. The main solution is to encourage new members to access these sections and begin to post. At the moment we only have about 10 regular users of the forum. Once we get a stronger base of posters, this issue should be eliminated.

The rank requirements are from the old website during the Confederation Brood War era. When you joined the clan you were required to make a new account [ Ex: Oblivion(ConFed) ]. This would reset your win / loss count and that's why the win requirement now is pretty much useless because wins are either kept all-time or by season, thus allowing almost everyone to reach the Rank of Captain+ without having to play another game.
So, the day requirement would give you X amount of days to get the extra X amount of wins and it worked out better. While I do believe that our upper ranks should be held by those with a decent amount of time within the clan, I do acknowledge the need to review these requirements and bring them more up to date with the SC2 era of The Confederation.
I hope these answers give you a little bit of an insight into the issues you mentioned! Anyone else, please feel free to build off of these questions or answers!

| Shazam, the ranks are pretty solid, at the re-founding of the clan I was a big advocate for changing the system. However it rarely gets "top" heavy. The Higher ranks require so much time and commitment that most members burn out, or loose interest, or get demoted. In my 7 years of being in The Confederation I have only ever seen it happen once. It was during the "golden age" of The Confederation. we had a Pres, vp, CDA, CSA, Fleet Adm, Adm fleet 1, Adm fleet 2, and I think 4 captains out of six ships. plus commanders and so on. IT will never happen. we have really only a handful of "active" officers right now. If it did get too that point Crunchy has contingences, ready too go. But it will never get too that point.

| What I love about the clan ranges from the kind players, the safe environment, the professionalism, the Ranks (I love the military-style ranking system), and how much the players are willing to help one another.
I could never have reached Platinum League had it not been for the players here (Daedalus, Xecutor, ODog, DissidiaX to name a few), that helped me one the way there.
I only have two dislikes about this clan.
Number one, I want the Keepers branch to get filled out as quickly as possible (I may be asking for too much here, but this I believe is one of our clans top priorities at the moment).
Number two, I want every rank in the clan to get filled up (including the High Command), which may also be asking for too much though. The High Command, being the supreme branch of The Confederation, will function at its best once all of its Ranks are filled by capable players.
But overall, there is no other clan like ConFed, and no other clan as Professional and Epic as ConFed.

Agreed. I've been able to secure a few recruits by just asking them after game if they'd like to join. Works great!

Right now the Keepers are looking on the up and up. Though, it will take some time before it is fully functional, rest assured that it is a top priority.
Additionally, It takes a while for a member to reach the rank of High Command. I wouldn't worry about High Command right now, the main concern for me is filling the few remaining Vice Admiral, Captain, and Commander positions. This will allow the UMC is run efficiently, help us in the upcoming Ship Wars, and will provide great leadership to the clan.
