Who lives in New York?

After much research I have found that I am eligible to sit the New York State Bar examination with my Australian Bachelors Degree.

I was considering studying my masters in Texas which would allow me to practice but this saves me 1 year and over $30,000, I also feel New York City is THE place to go for a legal career.

I was wondering who lives in New York? I have visited once and I stayed at the Marriot in Times square so I have a basic idea of the general area from there to Central Park and The other way to the Financial District, however I know I'm too poor as a Junior to afford to live around there so I was wondering if anybody can give me a basic idea of what most people in this situation would do, what area would they be looking to live in until they can get a higher salary and what are the areas to avoid?

Would sharing an apartment be the smart way to start out?

Anything else I might need to know?

Also, anyone who hooks me up with a junior position in a law firm gets all the riches and glory the UMC can bestow.

It looks very "Suburban". I've lived in the suburbs my whole life, I really want city life.

If I listened to all the people that laughed at me in the past Darwin, I wouldn't have even applied to law school. I'd still be mowing the lawn and emptying the garbage bins at the local motorsport track.

I also live in New York! My goal is to live in new york city before I'm 30. Realistically speaking of course. If I could get there much sooner I would.

Live in the country. Much better in every way. Visit, work in, and seek out entertainment in a city but don't live in one.

Opinion biggrin .

I much prefer the hustle and bustle of living in a city. I used to live in Tampa FL when I was younger. Would love to visit sometime to see how its changed.

I've been paying $950 a fortnight for the last 10 years for a mortgage, $1150 per month sounds like heaven.

Also I wont need a car, theres a huge expense gone in my life at the moment as well.

950$ a fortnight? Jesus fucking christ. Cities are super risky. If the zombie apocalypse happens; you only have to fight through 20 million zombies. So you should be fine. If you could study in detroit, you could buy a house for like 5$. I shit you not, there's houses there for 1$. But you might wanna get a d12 hoodie or something
