| Those under my leader ship have reported that I have been most unfair and abusive. I will admit to being heavy handed in certain scenarios, however at no point in time where my words truly filled with malice but were an attempt to inspire esprit de corps. I see now that as I transition into civilian life certain tactics in communication will not work and will be deemed abusive. Understanding that I must alter my previous methods of leadership and guide with a softer hand as we as a clan ramp up for bigger and better things. To the people that have left the clan because of my verbal onslaught. I am truly sorry and I’m sad to see you go. The strength of Confed is not its fantasy, nor is it StarCraft, the strength of Confed is its community that we are a group of people that have common interests that support and care for each other. That we are friends. I am sorry that I made Confed feel like it wasn’t a home for you and I can’t express how sorry I am for that as Confed has helped me so much in my personal life. To help strengthen our community, I have recruited 6 people over the course of the last week to help ease the stress caused by the loss of members. I understand now that as Fleet Admiral those under me expect and demand more of me. I will give you that.

| I've mentioned these kind of things before, and I continue to always emphasize that we all treat each other with respect and dignity, especially in terms of a member's sensitivity to certain behaviors.
I've also warned and tried to explain the importance of mature leadership, but that doesn't mean that playing around and building personal playful relationships is a bad thing; I just think some take it the wrong way, and with you, Gigglesmirk, you just had an unfortunate situation happen, as it has happened with me and others.
This doesn't mean your viewed any less valuable or skilled as a leader or player. On the contrary. I think apologizing, despite the fact that I don't even think it's necessary, shows maturity and the willingness to make alterations. Whoever left the clan wasn't mature enough or capable enough of being loyal and accepting criticism no matter how HARSH OR SCRUTINIZING it felt for them.. After all, we all joke around and fuck with each other, and the ones who accept it are still here, and the ones who couldn't handle it are gone, and they can be replaced with ease.
Our clan is one that will always have a vacancy and room for others, because not everyone can handle personal drama, pressure, or responsibilities that are becoming of a mature player, let alone a casual gamer.
I respect you Gigglesmirk, and I don't think you owe any of us an apology that are still here to read it. I'm sure now it makes sense why I am the way I am. Sensitive, careful, and sometimes romantically mushy and timid; because I know what kind of shitstorm can brew from saying the wrong thing or doing something the wrong way.
No matter what rank any of us are, demoted, promoted, or in between, I will hold all of you in regards to how you treat each other. Let's just stay together, have fun, and weed out the problems. This is all about fixing mistakes, and I'm sure we will make it through another episode.
Anyway, I personally appreciate reading this thread, and just wanted to show a lengthy account of my gratitude not only to Gigglesmirk for everything he's done domestically and outside in the clan, but also to everyone else who sticks around and wants to show the effort it takes to grow together instead of just giving up and quitting after throwing a bitch fit.
