| Greetings,
Just wanted to take a quick moment to throw my support behind Jacobis, StarTaledBOB, and the rest of the members who I have had conversations with over the past two days. You guys have shown extreme maturity and responsibility in the midst of a crisis. While I am purely responsible for the current state of the clan and what has happened; I am encouraged by the decisions that have been made and am excited to be able to watch this new direction that the clan will go in.
It's time for this Starcraft 2 clan to be run by members from the SC2 era. Those of us who are current Legends or members from Brood War have done our part to ensure its transition and ultimate survival, but now it is time for ConFed to assume its proper place and let this new generation take over. While it's going to be different for a lot of us, we should always remember that ConFed is more than structure and ranks; it is an unique experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else.
I've always loved this clan and will continue to do so. I will continue to work to earn back the trust and appreciation from every member, due to my actions over the past 3 weeks, but I am encouraged by the initial reception that you all gave me two days ago. I am no longer around to be the President or attempt to come back in a large capacity. I will use my talents, knowledge, and will for the well being of the clan to aid Jacobis and StarTaledBOB as they work to improve the issues still plaguing the clan (if asked).
I look forward to watching each and every one of you grow and engage with this next era of The Confederation.
All Hail The Confederation,
Oblivion

| Oblivion,
Personally, I'd like to thank you for all the hard work and dedication you've given to ConFed. Ever since I joined, you've done your absolute best to give nothing less than perfectness. From your well written posts, to thoughtful receiving of ideas, the impact you've had on the clan affected every square inch of ConFed. Your integrity and commitment have always been beyond reproach.
The shoes you left behind are massive, and the thought of filling them is daunting. I will definitely need your guidance and assistance; so expect alot of texts from me over the next few months. Although it was bumpy towards the end, I hold nothing but the upmost respect for you, Oblivion. The innumerable hours your heart and soul has poured into this clan will never be forgotten. As we move forward in the coming weeks, I hope to see you on as much you can. Your influence on the future of The Confederation is vital, and I look forward to working more with you. Thanks again for everything!
Sincerely,
Jacobis

| Well said, folks,
Good point about allowing the SC2 generation to take charge. This is mainly why I stay on the administrative side of things. I, personally, don't have that hunger to be a master of Starcraft like in the BW days. Back then, I wanted to be a courage level competitor, nonstop gaming, practicing and dedication and focus and discipline; winning was important, etc. etc.
Nowadays, it's time [for some of us older folks] to take a more diplomatic approach and casually game while continuing to be an example that time weathers one's passion down after many years, but one's love for the community and the game remain strong. I personally don't crave game after game like when I was 16-17 playing Broodwar, but I still feel as passionate about the community and operations of a clan family practice as when I was 14. This experience cannot be denied, and anyone who would refuse to call this experience wisdom needs to see the bigger picture, and I hope this post sheds light on some of that.
Anyway, that's just the way I see it. I wish Jacobis great fortunate in running the clan as President. We will do everything we can to support him and make his leadership as stress-free and progressive as possible. We will continue to grow ConFed and expand our ideas, as our creativity is unable to be contained. In an environment where so many young people want to express their creative ideas, anything here is possible, and I wish all of us as well good luck in making this new term a healthy and bright one.
