Open Letter to The Confederation

| Greetings,
The Confederation is a unique and special organization. Not only is it one of the oldest and most organized clans on Battle Net, but the lasting memories and interactions between members are priceless. You've probably heard all of the old Brood War people comment and remember countless stories about other members, well that is exactly what I'm talking about.
That's not to say that the only reason we stayed in ConFed was for our fellow friends, it was also because we loved and cared for the clan that we had been apart of for so long. Its an organization which you can see the fruits of your labor everyday. ConFed is a unique 'monster'. The only reason I came back from a 4 year hiatus was because of this love for ConFed. If I merely only cared about the people from Brood War, then it would have been pointless to return.
I know we are going through a lot of changes right now and the clan make-up is drastically changing everyday. I want you to know that my door is always open for you to come and talk to me about any complaints or grievances that you may have. There are a lot of issues that we are not aware of because no one has said anything. This is ultimately your clan and we will cease to exist without our members' support.
One main issue is the explosive growth of what has been known as "ConFed Gaming". I want to reassure you, we are not structuring ourselves to become the next MirG, OD, or TAsc. We will continue to be The Confederation, while catering our events to the members which we attract. What we will have, is a branch, known as the Keepers, which will be competing on the same level as the clans mentioned above. I know it can be seen that we are extremely focused on the gaming aspect, but you must remember that we have had 14 years to develop the structure, ranks, branches, and roles of our general membership. ConFed does ConFed really well.
On the flip side, we are attempting to catch up ConFed with Starcraft 2. Our structure and protocols were deeply embedded with Brood War. For those of you who don't know, BW is a completely different animal than SC2 and that has put us at a disadvantage with providing the resources to make our competitive team continue to grow.
You've heard about new logos, sponsorships, clothing, social media, and a whole heck of a lot more. These changes are really focused on the competitive aspect, but they will continue to bring a positive impact to the entire clan and brand known as The Confederation. This clan is going to be unique and our greatest days are still ahead of us. We will be the premiere community and competitive team on Starcraft 2. I believe it, do you?
Please continue to believe in me as well as my leadership team and know that all these changes are being made in the best interests of the clan as well as to ensure the continued growth and survival of ConFed. We've gotten this far and I know we still have a lot of gas in the tank.
