So, skytoss. Skytoss is weak in midgame, usually. Lacks the beefiness of robo based armies. Is extremely expensive and can die to a whole lot of different timings. However, protoss sky army is the most efficient most versatile, and most DPS heavy composition in the game. I highly encourage all protoss to give skytoss a try, even just for funsies. I base my entire gameplay on skytoss, and I feel overall it has improved me as a player by quite a bit.

I just watched the PvP replay in depth, nice form.

Question: Did you choose to throw the Revelation because of his stalkers blocking your Oracle from effectively reaching his probes, or was that a deliberate choice to keep him from moving out?

The first one. The thing about going skytoss is that you need to use every tool in your arsenal. I don't have obs, meaning that oracle scouting is extremely important. What advantage the oracle has over the obs, is that not only can it scout, it can also harass. Killing 2 birds with one stone. The revelation isn't really what kept him home. Its the fact that my oracle is still out on the field.
