| Dear members of The Confederation,
You might have noticed my absence lately. I have been doing a lot of thinking. The Confederation has been the largest and most respected Clan on Battle.net since I joined roughly 8 years ago. I've seen this Clan brought down to it's knees. I've seen High Command literally rip itself apart then put itself back together because of a dispute. I've seen the channel taken over by an enemy Clan before. But the thing that amazes me most is, despite all the set backs and mishaps, we are still here today.
I've had the privilege of playing my part in the Clan to the fullest extent. JDman (CRA Commandant at the time) and I (Current Vice President at the time) were the only 2 members left after Wings of Liberty was released with no Clan features. When Heart of The Swarm came around we built the Clan back up from scratch, recruiting brand new members who were willing to be part of something new and remaking an entire website.
Over the past year The Confederation has built itself back up to it's former glory. We have regular Tournaments, Events, Active Forums, TeamSpeak, etc. The Clan has stabilized itself and is not going away any time soon.
With all that said, I have reached a point in my life where I have come to some realizations. Between my job, significant other, and growing interests in activities outside of Starcraft/Video games I no longer can give the time, focus, and energy that I know this Clan and all of it's members deserve. I love this Clan and all of its members without question, but as one former member and current Legend, LordPain once said "Lead, Follow, or get the hell out of the way!"
As of 4/24/14, I officially am announcing my resignation as President and taking my post as detailed here in the Legends page. However, my actual involvement with helping and contributing to Clan is not decreasing that much. I will continue my part as the official Website Administrator and TeamSpeak 3 Server Administrator. Any maintenance, new features, upgrades, moderation, and financial management/funding will be my main priorities.
I am completely confident in this Clans future and well being. Under the direction of President Oblivion and combined efforts from our JCOS Team, the possibilities are endless. I have never before seen a JCOS Team that cares as much as the one we have now.
Oblivion, TheBigTG, ShazamPoof, ZZZ, Daedalus, Kool, Zmic, JDman, and Faded, Thank you. Thank you for your efforts and loyalty to The Confederation. I know that you all are the future of this Clan. As one of my last executive decisions I have done the following; "Checks and Balances", An Idea that was originally proposed by JCOS. This consists of 3 Policies that help protect the JCOS Team to ensure that their ideas, and decisions are treated fairly. I have signed this and have pushed it into Confederation Law effective immediately. You can find the complete details under the Internal Ops > Diplomacy page.
All hail the new President of The Confederation, Oblivion! *Salutes*. I have spoken with Oblivion previously regarding all that has been mentioned above.
Again, Thank you for everything. This has been a once in a life time experience and will never be forgotten. I sincerely love each and every one of you. This Clan is my family. I'm not leaving the Clan by any means, but it's important to recognize when it's time to step back and let someone else take the helm. I look forward to playing games, talking in the channel, talking on TeamSpeak, and communicating through Forums with each and every one of you.

| Where to begin...?
Chris, you and I met each other somewhere around '10-'11 after I stumbled upon The Confederation.
When you and I met, you were Vice President and I was a clueless 12 year old.
The clan's future was vague, and the clan soon fell apart.
Somehow, somewhere along the line, you had the initiative to bring The Confederation back to life.
You not only brought this clan back to life, you brought it back to a Top 25 Global spot on Battle.Net,
all in the time span of more or less 365 days.
Words literally cannot describe how much you have done for this clan, not only this year, but the years dating back to when you were still in High School yourself.
I watched you go from Vice President of a dying clan, to becoming President of a revived one.
I hope you feel the same way about me; going from a clueless 12 y/o to a responsible JCOS member.
Good Luck in all of your future endeavors, CrunChy! (And don't forget about us!)
With that being said,
Congrats Oblivion on the new position, you earned it all the way.
I don't have much knowledge about your tenure as a1a3a1, but I can safely say that you too, have grown as an individual, inside-clan and out.
Through the rebirth of ConFed, I've now seen you go from Admiral, to Fleet Admiral, to CDA, to Vice President, and now the highest rank in ConFed.
Words cannot describe how much you've done for the clan this past year alone, and how proud I am of you for all you've done.
You'll pave the way for a new legacy of ConFed, I'm sure of it.

| In the many years that The Confederation has been a clan, an acting President has never stepped down. So for Crunchy to do this lawfully and willingly for the good of the clan not only are we all witness to an unprecedented act of honor, and commitment for the good of something better then himself. We are watching a Confederation history be made.
Above Crunchy mentioned that when clan support finally came online for starcraft 2 it was just me and him who rebuilt the clan. This point is true; however my role in the rebuilding of the this mighty clan was incredibly small compared to the hours of hard work he put into bringing The Confederation back to its former glory. You see when the old clan died the website went with it with all of our laws, customs, ranks, and forum memories. However Crunchy has the foresight to take screen shots of every single website page knowing that someday he would bring back The Confederation to battle.net. Crunchy spent many days making our new website, and digging deep into his own pockets to pay for our own URL, and the Team Speak server. This is an act of true love for The Confederation an act i will never forget.
During the early months of rebuilding Crunchy kept one goal for The Confederation in mind. Which was to build a stout yet respectful clan, with the goal of making a place where people on battle.net could come together and have Fun playing starcraft. Now today we are in the top 20 ranked both globally and in north america, we have over 130 members, we have a winning clan war record, and we all get together daily for fun.
What Crunchy has achieved in his 6 years or so in the clan moving from Private, who was first exiled, and then to President is astounding and just goes to show what all of you as members of The Confederation can achieve. For me i will always remember Crunchy as the greatest President of The Confederation. He rebuilt the clan himself, helped it grow to its current glory, and putting all of his pride aside, he is stepping down and letting oblivion take over for the good of the clan. I know this decision was tough for him, but this final act is a great example for all members of The Confederation.
I give a proud final *Salute* to the greatest president i have ever known, and had the pleasure of serving.

I don't know how to reply to this. I could write a 6 or 7 paragraph response but that would just be me rambling. All I can really say is thank you with a few tears running down my cheek. I'm so happy we stuck together, you are one of my best friends I've met in this Clan.
If the Clan is ever comes in harms way or danger don't worry, I will be here and you can count on that.

| OMG Crunchy... I am really sad for you stepping down, but I have even MORE respect for you now than I did, and I am happy you chose Oblivion to take over, because he is quite frankly one of the best leaders of an organization I have seen in a while, with you being at the top there.
You brought this clan up from the ashes and made it fly. There nothing more impressive than that! You're an incredibly passionate and dedicated Clan member, and I will always remember everything you've done.
Even though I have been here for a relatively short time, I feel like I have known you for longer. You have that effect on us - you're a very charismatic and dedicated person, and although Confed will be remiss of your great personality without you at the helm, we will always be honored to still have you among us as a friend. Oblivion will take over well, and we will be stronger as ever, and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

I'm really happy that I could help save the Clan and bring it back to it's current state. I feel as if I fulfilled my role and my responsibility to this Clan's legacy in preserving it's existence. I will still be around and helping out as much as I can. Come in TeamSpeak and say hi to me sometime! I'm generally down in a channel or talking with the other members.
I am quite confident in Oblivion as well. Oblivion possesses vast knowledge from his previous experiences in the Clan.
