| Hello,
Starting on Monday, April 7th, 2014, ConFed will no longer be using it's Reputation Points System. Yup, that's right. We're going to ditch the whole system completely and replace them with our existing Confederation Star.
But what does that mean exactly?
Everything that used reputation points will require Confederation Stars instead. You will still earn these Stars the same way you earned reputation points.
What's the ratio?
For every 15 reputation points you have you will earn 1 Confederation Star. So for example, if you needed 45 reputation points to get promoted, you would now instead need 3 Confederation Stars.
A lot of you already have Confederation Stars, so think of it as a free boost.
Why?
It's easier. Not only for those who issue them, but our reputation points are capped at 5000 and only work in increments of 15. On top of that, if the person issuing the reputation points does not have 5000 then it will not show up correctly for the person who receives them. So we've been having to bump all our CRA, Captains, JCOS, etc to 5000 in order for them to be able to issue points correctly. But.. this does not allow them to receive awards or points for participating in Clan activities which is unfair.

Great idea crunchy! Will this follow up with maybe prizes/perks for "ConFed stars"?
I am just glad to see rep points removed, honestly they are very hard to keep track of.
I would also like to see stars given for forum posts. Maybe at intervals of 50? This can allow people like Inflamary to progress through ranks, even as he is in a different time zone (rep points holding him back from promotion). In turn, if he wants to hold a leadership position, he could recruit members from other time zones, making our community even more diverse.

But in all seriousness, this removal of Reputation Points is a change that's been a long time coming.
I don't remember for sure, but I believe we used the Confederation Star system in the old ConFed,
instead of Reputation Points (along with # of academy graduates, for ranking up).

These are actually great ideas. How cool would it be if a member who had say, 15 Stars they worked for could then trade them in towards an item offered by The Confederation? Like a T-Shirt, Poster, or Sticker.
These are great ideas. However it's not time for that yet. We are still getting our foothold on the new Clan Channel Expansion. That's not to say these idea's are out of the water. Patience my friends patience.

Everyone's Reputation Points have been converted to Confederation Stars.
Everything that involved Reputation Points will now use Confederation Stars. Promotions, Scrimmage and Arcade Night Rewards, etc etc.
Those who had their reputation boosted to 5000 in order to properly issue points to others have received 10 Confederation Stars and will receive an additional 10 at a later date.
Website descriptions have yet to be changed and will be updated within the next 24 hours.
Pass on the word.

No official evidence has been released, other than the fact that the warning:
