Why Expansion Would Be Good

| I think we should definately expand our SC2 Division. Even though we're capped at 100 members, expanding would give a lot of advantages:
- Get ConFed's name out there
- Give opportunity to those who still wanna join
- Raise current clan's rank in world sc2 rankings (since its by points)
- Give the ranking system a chance to propagate and have vacant rank slots filled
- Have the opportunity to practice ConFed laws and obide by them with a growing population
- Experimental chaos management (learning how to break Dunbar's number and learn how to manage large bodies of peoples autonomously)
- Invite new ideas and cultures to join our experience, share ideas, participate in and help create events that'll better the Confederation.
Of course, this is only my personal speculation, but my experience within the clan so far leads me to believe that we may be ready for and welcome the responsibilities of expansion. I just wanted to lay down some positives so the higher command can think about this and consider it. If you need any help organizing, plz lemme know.

| So telos, Seens as i commend on everything, i Was just wondering about Expandng, Would your idea being something like Multiple ConFed Clans? With a HC/JCOS in command of each one?

| Greetings,
Just wanted to take a moment to talk about the ideas listed by Telos as well as other members in this thread. I'll break it down into two parts: 1) SC2 Expansion 2) Game Client Expansion
SC2 Expansion
I am a firm believer in the need to expand to another channel to allow ConFed to properly thrive. I don't believe that Blizzard will increase the Clan Cap so we must take matters into our own hand and expand in the second best way.
This SC2 expansion would not be separated by different UMC Ships or ConFed Branches, simply it would be another tag and would give us 100 extra slots to invite people with. CrunChy and myself would have a second account and be a member of both [ConFed] and the new channel. Additionally, CRA would for sure be moved over to allow them the opportunity to do their job (recruit). (These are not specific details, just a rough outline of how it would work)
ConFed Community will continue to serve as the main channel and we will continue to do inactive sweeps with our current standards.
The possibilities are endless.
Expanding to Other Game Clients
The Confederation will most likely never "expand" to another game client. This would be extremely hard to manage and integrate into our existing structure. Though, I do believe the opportunity is there to "casually" allow members to play together and form a team named ConFed and recruit if they want, but they would not be listed on our website, etc.
This would simply be a way to expand the name without taking on the extra burden that would be associated with trying to integrate all these new members into our structure.

| Yea 0 Reputation points.. hmm you cant make many events, you should be getting 15 rep points for(30) posts on forums, so you could have 60. You would be a great addition to an officer rank ESPECIALLY because you are in a different timezone so you could recruit and whatnot during EST night or early morning
