For me i try to play at lease one game a day as I have a full time job and family to care for. Although my time is limited to maybe 2~ hours(if I'm lucky) a day I always try to get a team game going so people at least know I'm around lol. Weekends is primarily where i practice my 1s(just got plat) and maybe a few team games.

I just play most of the time since I got to school, I don't really work :)))

I was diamond, until I took an arrow to the knee.

As of right now, I don't have much of a balance really.

I have Track N' Field practice till 8:30 and 5:30 everyday and don't manage to get on
until I'm done with my piles of Honors Homework (which is another burden in and out of itself).

It really is difficult being an intellectual, an athlete, and a gamer all at once, I hope I can someday find a balance haha.

I generally sacrifice my sc2 time. TT

But I try to play 3-5 games a day on weeknights if I'm not too tired, and get my real practice in on weekends.

Also when I work 2nd shift I get to work from home, so I normally get to keep my sc2 practice going. biggrin

Greetings,

Sometimes it's hard to fit a social life and gaming life plus school. Usually, I've sacrificed my social life, but I'm slowly but surely finding a good balance.

Cheers,

I find balancing my time very difficult. As some of you know when I go to work I stay there for 48 - 72 hours. My usual goal is to not spend hours on end playing StarCraft but play short time spans so I can still take care of my every day tasks. Night time is usually the time to play. Real life is number one but you have to treat yourself to the things you enjoy as well to stay happy.
