Greetings Confederation Members,
I am writing this letter today on behalf of High Command. As Confederation Domestic Advisor, I am tasked with several duties, one of those includes being the Judicator of ConFed. As all of you know, The Confederation is an extremely complex clan with several Laws and Rules which must be followed to maintain a cohesive and stable gaming community. Since the clans inception, there has been a strict Zero Tolerance Policy towards members who are unable to follow our Laws.
Captain Beta has been a member of The Confederation for almost a year. While his activity has been unparalleled, he has been removed from our clan effective immediately. Below I will outline the laws and explain several scenarios as of why this verdict was reached.
Quote Article 6. Arguments
Simply no members of ConFed are allowed to FIGHT with other members. Fight for ANY reason, no matter who started it and you will be in trouble. If you have a quarrel with another member, settle it in a game or in another channel. Do NOT argue in a main Confederation channel or be prepared to face the consequences. Arguing or antagonistic behavior of any kind will not be permitted among ConFed members.
Quote Article 3. Respect
ALL ConFed members must respect ALL other members, no matter what Division they are in or what rank they hold. No member may deliberately offend, insult or otherwise act unkindly towards another member. Always bear in mind that ConFed is about friendship (This applies from ranks, Cadet - President). *Salutes* is our gesture of respect.
Additionally, as an Officer and Ops Holder, you are expected to be a role model for our clan. Your actions and words are meant to reflect The Confederation in a positive manner, regardless of your own personal views. While we always welcome differing opinions from our own, we expect you to maintain a level of professionalism and handle all issues directly with High Command and JCOS in a closed and respectful manner.
Furthermore, we expect our Officers to have the clans best interests at heart, rather than their own personal gain. Unfortunately, this was not the case in this matter. While he did stay a dedicated and loyal member, his true colors shown in an attempt to oust other high ranking officials to merely prove a point and earn additional power within our clan.
There are several incidents that are not noted in this statement, please rest assured that we did in fact have evidence to support this course of action and made a well informed decision.
After several second chances in hopes of improvement, the issue of Captain Beta was finally brought to our attention by a JCOS member. It was then decided that the issue would come to a vote to decide how the situation should be handled. After a week of debate, the verdict was reached at 5-2, in favor of removal. The vote was only open to JCOS Members. Every JCOS member did vote, excluding Sky Marshall Daedalus who is unavailable at the moment.
It is extremely unfortunate that we are removing a member from our ranks, but the JCOS and High Command will ensure the removal of members who cannot contribute to our community and clan in a positive manner. We have become extremely relaxed while dealing with other issues within the clan. Rest assured that we will continue to make efforts to restore the complete enforcement of Confederation Law.
