| Dreamhack Bucharest kicks off this weekend and is (on paper) the greatest SC2 event to date, Dreamhack has always raised the bar and easily out-shined the likes of IPL,MLG,WCS,Etc... and this one is just stacked.
Why? Two main reasons
1) WCS Points: Blizzcon is 1 (the current) season away and everyone within striking range of the top 16 WCS points is trying to qualify (if you are unaware, Blizzcon is the year finals for WCS, it is the goal of all pro players just to make it there, but only the top 16 of the whole year qualify, and dreamhack is one of the final 2 tournaments [besides current WCS season, which many top players have already been knocked out of] that awards WCS points)
2) The SC2L Team League Finals will be played there (Team Liquid vs Team Acer), not only does this mean that the top players from thos 2 teams will be in attendence for sure, but SC2L is paying their away, freeing up money from the teams to send other players.
Now besides the stacked lineup and amazing production expected from Dreamhack there is a few other things to point out.
a - ~20 Streams, many languages, top caster duos, and community casters streaming tons and tons of games.
b - Dremhacks massive 3 group stage, allowing both pros and aspiring pros alike to compete in a format that does not degrade the over all event and usually creates some great underdog stories.
c - the casters, Artosis, Day9, Apollo. Smix hosting/casting and Adebeisi observing, couldent really ask for better.
