| So last night in the new star wars trailer while it was awsome I saw something that had really bothered me. I know a lot of people in this clan appreciate star wars lore so I want some help explaining this. During one scene in the trailer we see the bad guy worshiping what appears to be a damaged darth vader helmet. My problem is in the end of return of the jedi we clearly see luke burning his father's body in the typical jedi funeral pire. So where did this bad guy get the intact helmet? It didn't come from the death star, or the super star destroyer vader commanded has both were destroyed. So are we led to believe that wishy washy luke who had just had a real moment with his father, decided to leave what ever didn't burn? Granted vader helmet is probably made of mandalorian steel so it wouldn't burn. But luke wouldn't leave it there, and if he did who used a melon baller to scrape out the melted remains of vaders body. My conclusion is that jj abrams the guy who blew up Vulcan is once again playing fast and loose with the cannon we love. Should we be concerned or just shut up and appreciate what we get? Please dicuss. https://youtu.be/bBMqJ9mQKpI that's the video of the body being burned

| JD I think you are jumping the gun. There are several possibilities, first of all - yes Luke left him there burning. The new guy is meant to be some Sith wannabe who collects rare Sith icons and such. The helmet in the trailer is melted so its fair the say it came from the fire. Did luke bury it and this guy dug it up? Maybe. Did the body just sit there after? Maybe. Was it a spare mask that was on the Death Star when it got blown up and the new guy found it in the wreckage? Maybe. I really think, at least as of now this is a non-issue. Also everything Disney has touched in recent times has turned to gold so I'm placing my trust in them.
