| Heading into the second half of the year I thought it would be a good opportunity to post up whats happening within the UMC and give our clan members a good insight into what we are planning for the next 6 months.
PROMOTIONS
Recently we have had a few members step down due to busy schedules in their day to day life. Several Admiral and Captain positions have opened up meaning there will most likely be room for new commanders so if you are interested in joining the UMC command structure chat to some of the captains and sign up for the Officer training program.
We have a lot of great Staff within the UMC command so filling these positions will be both easy and hard as there are many deserving candidates. As such I am going to announce the Promotions at the end of the week!
Name Changes and New Recruits
As several members including myself have been offline recently due to moving/holidays/summer/etc. I am making a move to catch up on all paperwork. I'll be updating all Name changes soon so if you have changed your ingame username PLEASE POST IT IN THE NAME CHANGE THREAD.
UPCOMING EVENTS
What you all have wanted to hear. We recently had a UMC Officer meeting and a few ideas have been put forward for our next big clan events. We will be releasing these soon but I can give you the hint that one will be "Boxing themed". It will be set over 3 days and streamed much like Ship Squads. If you are interested in casting please let me know!
Captain FallenAngelSA has been working on changes to our usual training nights, you can find his post in this forum. If you haven't attended a training night it is well worth checking out as we have many highly skilled players who put their time aside to pass on some knowledge.
This Friday we also have a "Off-race" event run by Vice Admiral KoB where combatants must play a different race to their usual ladder race. This should be a great event so make sure you are online at 8pm Friday night to check it out and don't forget to jump on Team Speak.
As you can see the UMC has a lot going on and moving forward in the next 6 months we plan to work at bringing you some great events and also integrate our new Twitch and Youtube pages so if you miss anything you can watch it at a better time!
