| From the rumors I hear, some pros and community leaders will receive the first wave.

"We're really happy to see everyone so excited about the beta and even like having a little fun with the community on this, but we're also trying to set the correct expectations here. There have been so many rumors on the start time, seemingly based on timezone differences. We're just trying to help clear up confusion here as much as we can. Here are a few details.
There is still work that needs to be done to prepare the beta for launch.
Those that are part of the first beta wave have not been flagged as of yet.
Those receiving access will get an email letting them know they've been invited. However, it will not have a key and require no action other than checking the Battle.net App.
We'll provide an update whenever the beta does go up so that it's clear to everyone."
