That is from the awards page. Although I have done that many a times that's not what this post is about. This post is not about anything but me getting a Medal of Honor. I do not need to be given this award. Furthermore I do not want a Service Cross in lieu of a Medal of Honor. The work I did for Confed in my opinion does not need to be recognized simply because it was my job and it was my pleasure to do. This is not me being petulant by any means. I simply mean this, if you guys feel like I deserve the Medal of Honor, give it to me. If you don't think I deserve it don't give it to me. Hard work and helping continue Confed is its own reward. The reason why I asked Darwin to post on the forums was to keep this a conversation to put it out all on the table. That being said I want the Medal of Honor, however I do not need it and if I do not get it I will respect that decision. I don't however want to be given something just for giving me something and I feel like giving me the Service Cross is just that.....Does that make sense? "

| There's nothing wrong with having small groups of favorable members/friends in the clan. After all, we're a Confederation, a community, and it shouldn't be considered "alienation" to have members you favor over others.
It only becomes a problem when you're in a leadership position and stop someone's progress by keeping them down with personal attacks, harassment, and bad manners. No one needs that, and I believe it's illegal according to Confederation law, so be weary of that as we continue to discuss.
It's natural that standard moral principles deteriorate after a headcount of approx. 150, and that's about what our clan drifts around. Like I said, it's natural, and if you have a truly mature mindset, and experience in a leadership position, then you should expect minor setbacks, but none of that should ever lead to saying someone doesn't deserve something, because it not only sheds a bad light on that person, but also challenges the decisions of the leader of a group aka the President.
I recommend setting aside your personal pride and encouraging brotherhood, because bashing each other and criticizing members sounds more like alienation than playing favorites.
I see the civil manner of this discussion, but it's overall a politically-driven banter of personal ambition, and we should work harder on setting that aside and continue thinking about how we can make things better rather than reflect on our flaws and errors.

| Greetings Confederation members,
The points brought up against GiggleSmirk are fair and backed up by valid reasons. GiggleSmirk did indeed violate Chobo Team League Rules. But not only did he violate Chobo Team League Rules, he embarrassed us in the process and left a salty taste in someones mouth about our Clan. GiggleSmirk has since then realized this mistake and has apologized to the individual who received his BM.
But the fundamentals that decide if GiggleSmirk will receive a Medal of Honor comes down to does he meet the criteria vs did he break ConFed law.
The Awards page states there are two ways to earn a Medal of Honor;
Quote “A. By making a momentous impact on ConFed while serving in the Clan, going far above and beyond the call of duty.
B. Legend Status. Occasionally a Confederation member who served diligently and reached the level of JCOS will have to attend to other priorities. Thereby forcing them to surrender what ever position they hold in ConFed due to lack of online time. As a result, these members are given the option to "retire" as Legends. If they choose this option, they earn this award automatically.
In order for B. to occur, a member must have been a Clan member for a significantly long period of time and must follow basic ConFed law.“
Additionally our Law on respect states the following;
Quote “We request that all members show the upmost respect and maturity towards other members at all times. In cases of dispute, please take it up in a private channel or contact a ConFed Officer to assist you in dealing with it. Failure to do so could result in your removal from the Clan.”
After reviewing all Feedback, taking into consideration our Medal of Honor requirement, and law regarding respect, High Command has ruled the following;
GiggleSmirk did not violate ConFed law when he decided to BM in Chobo Team league. Our law on respect does not have any specifications within regards to bming non-Clan members in public events. Therefore we can not hold GiggleSmirk accountable for his actions, his response, or his attitude towards the situation.
GiggleSmirk meets Medal of Honor requirement criteria A. as detailed above for his hard work and service to The Confederation.
GiggleSmirk will receive The Confederation's highest Award, a Medal of Honor.
However, with all that said, High Command recognizes the flaw not only in it's law regarding respect, but in the way our Medal of Honor criteria A. is worded as well. In response to member feedback, we've made the following changes.
Article 3. Respect
Quote Previously stated:

Now states:
“Every day you come online you represent ConFed. You represent all the years of hard work, dedication, and drive from those before you. Every action you make in-clan and outside of Clan has a ripple throughout the Starcraft 2 Community.
We request that all members show the upmost respect and maturity towards other members and other players at all times. In cases of dispute, please take it up in a private channel or contact a ConFed Officer to assist you in dealing with it. Failure to do so will result in a warning. Second offense will result in 1 Rank demotion. Third offense will result in your removal from ConFed. In the event a ConFed member BM's in a public event, the severity of the punishment will jump to Second offense unless otherwise dictated by High Command. Think before you speak.
This applies in-game, on Forums, TeamSpeak, and any other SC2/Bnet related instance.
