| I'm going to stretch a little and interpret PC as personal computer and not WinTel.
1. Linux - not strictly a game but more hours "played" and total enjoyment than anything else on a PC ever.

| I'm going to group some games together as franchises:
1. Starcraft + BW = SC2 + sc editor
- I hired SC when it came out from the video store and loved it so much I finally convinced my parents to buy it for me. I spent a hell of a lot of time playing custom maps and making my own entire RPG's in the sc editor or playing online. Coupole that with sc2 and I honestly don't think there are many games I have invested as much time into.
2. Diablo series
- 1, 2 and 3 I have played WAAAAAY too much of this series.
3. Warcraft series (Mostly RTS)
- same as sc2 but I prefferred sc
4. Command and Conquer (All except generals)
- Another game I loved to death was the C+C series. Mainly the tiberium and red alert series and I would play them to death.
5. Metal Fatigue
- Simply one of the best strategy games Ive ever played that most people never heard of. Basically you had 3 levels of play at one time - Sky, ground and underground. You build robots and chose exactly what arms your wanted, legs, torso and then chose pilots with different skill levels for them. This meant you could completely customize squads of units for different roles. The robots couldnt go underground so udnerground would become a battleground for tanks and other smaller vehicles, you had drills to mine around which was great. Then the skys were where you would fit solar arrays to get extra income.
Infact I love this game and havent played it in so long that if anyone wants to ge tit off the net and play Id reinstall it for sure.
6. Heavy Gear/Mechwarrior
- Even though these games are 2 different franchises they both played similarly and I invest quite a lot of time in them.
7. Halflife/including mods
- Again another game that when including mods and all the addons Ive probably invested way too much time into.
8. Sim City series
- Sim city 2000 mostly
9. Theme series (Park/Hospital)
- Who didnt waste entire summers?
Im going to be honest this is really difficult for me because there are so many great games I played the absolute hell out of. Its a shame really when I look at most games these days that I play through the campaign and never touch them again.
TBH Anything where I got to build things or create things or strategize I loved.

IMO, you can group expansions and games under the same category, but not the whole series. Each game is diff. BW + SC2 are WAY diff games, just like WC 3 and WC2 were way diff....anyway, me and my big mouth gave its two sense ;P
