As mentioned before, the league distro adjustments on Thursday weren't a final step. We'll be looking at everything further - Quoted.
I know some are looking for more specific details, but there haven't been a lot of new details on this yet since we're gathering league data post-update. I've been trying to avoid offering any further explanations that may end up being misleading or misinterpreted. However, I'll try to clear up a few points here.
The intended updates were applied on Thursday. This means the adjustments we were looking to make were applied. Seeing if they're having the intended effect is the second part of this and currently where we stand.
The lack of mass promotions reported here doesn't mean that it's not working. We'll have to look at league data and see how it's being adjusted and at what pace.
The more activity we see on ladder post-update, the more accurately we'll see how the league adjustments are changing placement.
When I said pushing the adjustments live weren't the final step, I was referring to the data collection portion of the work. Analyzing the data and looking at if other adjustments need to be made. Additional steps will depend on what is found there.
I'm sorry if the lack of updates on my end have caused any issues. I just want to make sure we have a clear message to provide that will help further everyone's understanding of the adjustments and not cause additional confusion. As we collect the data and get a clearer picture of what's happening, I'll look to provide another update.

| My question is, they are attempting to give more promotions? So more golds into plat, more plat into diamond, etc?

| NEW UPDATE FROM BLIZZARD 2/12/15 -
"As you may well be aware we have been making adjustments to the ranking sytem to make sure players are correctly placed into the leagues we have preset parameters for. Many people have complained that our current adjustments haven't worked and I would just like to assure you aour team is very happy with the current results of Project "Doadrift". Currently our adjustments to the Terran race, including but not limited to mine buffs have caused a steady decline from Platinum in Gold. The recent rank adjustments will assure us that he will rapidly plummet into bottom bronze where we want him and then we will tempt him back with Legacy of the Void. Fear not for our efforts to break his mind and body will continue upon the release of Void where we will make sure that Terran once again has OP units such at the turret that can kite for days.
