| Hey guys,
This post serves as nothing more than a Warcry for inspiration during the holiday season. As we approach the holidays, just know what we've all accomplished in ConFed throughout the year. We've doubled in size, created a very intriquite ranking systems, and managed to find people willing to fulfill those roles. We've changed leadership several times, revamped clan divisions, added/removed/reognized several braches of the clan, and have set in place a working system in which there's plenty of oppertunities to grow, lead, play roles, develop skills and characteristics fitting of a mature e-sports gamer.
More important than skill, respect, and rank is the comradery, maturity, and kinsmenship we all show as we pave our own little paths in life, using ConFed as a platform by which these things are accomplished. At the end of the day, it's just a game, and WE are JUST A CLAN; but ConFed is more in essence than a clan; it's a community -- a place where many people can socialize under the purpose of a stable ideal. ConFed is a clan that has withstood the test of time, and this year was HUGE for us, as we've reach record high accomplishments, and we only continue to grow.
During the holiday season, have fun, be safe and responsible, and enjoy the time off that you have. If holiday seasons are hard for you, know that it could always be worse, and for many it is. Be thankful for what you have in life, and find the will to remain strong and keep on with peace if you're suffering. Forget grudges, get rid off negative feuds, and forgive those who have hurt unless they've committed unforgivable acts. Reach for the deepest of good in you, and bring it out for others, because you never know how much you could change someone's outlook by just shedding a spec of light in their heart. Eat well, be healthy, and pray for good fortune in the year to come if your faith tolerates it.
I know this is mushy and corny, but I wanted to take time and give a serious anecdote for something built around fun and relaxing. Although we are just playing a game, and we take our roles in the clan seriously, it's okay to express gratitude even if you think others will tease you for it, and especially if you think you have to appear dominant or superior in order to impress your clanmates or colleagues.
In closing, I've been in ConFed almost a year now. February will be my anniversary. I know my events usually always fall through, but I promise I'll dedicate my time towards a proper event come that time. I've never been in a clan as long as ConFed other than a few BW clans, which died and reformed many times into others over the years. BW veterans like Yuey, Edred, Runei are all friends of mine from the BW days, and I'm very thankful and glad we are still gaming under the same tag. Playing Starcraft over the past 2 decades has been the greatest honor of my life, the greatest and most rewarding thing I've ever done, and as we come onto a new Year, I wish you all a healthy 2015. Big things are to come this year, and from myself, I welcome all those a part of it to stay together as we continue to impress the world with such a wonderful organization. Hail, the ConFederation! Enjoy the holidays guys, and I'll see some of you next year!
