Gigglesmirk's Training Night is the inspiration behind the model for which I'm using this event. The first installation of this event will take place 1 day before Giggle's Training Night; Wednesday, December 10, 2014 @ 7PM EST - 8:30 EST (or however long it takes) This will give the clan a chance to warm up for Giggle's Training Night, which is usually a random clashing of members.
Rather than peepmode with random matches, I've chosen to put together a panel of 3 ppl; myself (Telos) and 2 others (Panel Judges). I'd prefer KeepeRs or race experts, but ANY member who's familiar with ConFed members' skill levels is what I'm looking for.
**Rewards will be given to those who volunteer to be on my panel; promotions, awards, etc.
**Rewards will be given to those who participate in the matches.
Matches will be made and decided by the Panel; and the matches will be organized according to skill level, race, and whatever the player needs help with.
Rather than the chaotic randomness of Peepmode, this will be a chance for members to face each other of equal skill, keeping matches interesting and progressive in skill advancement, as well as a way of preventing unwanted mirror matches. However, if the coordinated matches will be mirror matches, it'll be up to both the Panel and the Participants.
PLZ MSG Telos for more info. I am looking for 2 more volunteers to be in my Panel; tasks will be given to those people, and they will help in organizing the matches and developing parameters for the games.
So FAR, I think we'll start with a light 9 people, giving a chance for 3 members of each race to play diff matchups. This is JUST for practice, although participation will be rewarded. The Panel will decide future amounts of participants, and if this goes well, it may become an ongoing event with the hope it'll grow and involve more of the important ppl in the clan including Officers, JCOS, HC, KeepeR, and perhaps outsiders.
This could also synergize members to develop better practice habits, friendships, relationships, and passion for competition. It may also fire people up for ChoboLeague, In-clan tourneys, and be a great way to practice in general for any CW or ConFed event.

| I find it funny that certain individuals left the clan cause they couldn't find anyone to practice with, but obviously didn't sign up for this great idea.

| Amarr I believe you play Zerg right? If so I don't have work Thursday (Wednesday night in the US) so jump on TS and I can do some training with you.

| Guys,
I'm sorry this event fell through at the time I had planned on doing it. I'll be planning on re-launching this event within a month. Talbert and my anniversary for ConFed is coming up, and I might relaunch the event on behalf of this. Keep in mind, my events are usually sophisticated and thought out, so it's harder to get these things rolling, so if you guys remain patient, we will absolutely get this thing going!
If any officers or members are still willing to help, I am providing more freedom for ideas and taking charge of the event. Although I will host the event, and have planned it all myself, I wouldn't mind letting others get involved with leading the attack. Thanks guys, and I hope to see you all soon!
