| Greetings Gents,
It has been an honor to serve as President for The Confederation. When I received this rank, the clan was going through somewhat of a dark period. I honestly felt it was my duty at the time to step up and help lead the clan in a post Oblivion era. We stuck together and pulled through and have seen some steady growth. Thanks to all of my peers in the JCOS for your unwavering support and cooperation. We had a great run together!
This is probably common knowledge to most of you; but I'm not in the same mental space I started with. This job of President, requires a lot of time and commitment. Over the past 2+ months, my energy and willingness to help lead this clan have severely diminished. It has reached a point where often times I don't even want to log on. It's a mixture of my work life in the real world, and my daughter getting older, and all the things going on in my life. By the time I hop online, I really just want to relax and use that time to NOT think. I'm not able to give you guys the energy this clan deserves from it's leader. At the end of the day, I want what's best for Confed. What you guys deserve is a leader that works as hard as you guys do.
So with this knowledge, I believe it has come time to replace me. As President, I have three options that I can choose to make a smooth transition. Option A). Give presidency to the Vice-President. Option B). Succeed, give CSA interim presidency and instill a vote. Option C). Appoint A president of my choosing.
Option "A" I feel like right now, isn't what's best for the clan. StartaledBoB is probably the hardest working members on the clan, and is definitely one of the most passionate. I feel like given more time he would make a great president. However, right now he is not quite ready. I love BoB to death, and he is truly irreplaceable. If I was a President that knew what I was doing, I could have trained him right and he would be great, but unfortunately, I let him down on that.
Option "B" I feel like is a terrible idea. Last time there was a power vacuum, and created some really weird drama over the hot seat. I feel like going through that again would be terrible for the clan, and could divide it. This is the peak of winter and a terrible time for a transition in leadership, but I'm honestly on the verge of quitting gaming if this continues.
Option "C" is I appoint someone. I've had a high command meeting, and several private meetings, about who would be a good fit to appoint as President. There's two obvious choices here. Bob and Crunchy. Crunchy has been president before, and is back in activity. He's knowledgeable about all level of Confed mechanics, and meets and surpasses all requirements for President. In my opinion he's the best choice for the Confederation.
I tried to schedule a meeting to discuss these problems, but didn't get any turn-out. I hope you all respect my decision and fully support my choices with your cooperation. Please give CrunChy all the respect he deserves, and keep your head in the game gents. If Confed is going to go through this smoothly, it will absolutely require your guys' full cooperation.
As for me, I'm going to retire for now, and mess around on my PC when I have time. I'll still hop in teamspeak and talk and hop on SC2, but as far as my capacity to lead or continue to play competitively, those days have passed. I wish you all the best, and will keep tabs on my most beloved starcraft clan! Good luck, have fun gents!

| THank you for being president, Jacobis.
Taking charge of a large organization during its darkest hour, when nobody else wants to do so/is capable of doing so, is very admirable.
You ultimately helped us get through that hump, and we're all in better shape because of it.

Jacobis, you have a done a lot of things for ConFed. You've given up a lot of your personal time to ensure that ConFed would remain a dominant force on Battle.net. You've helped create a place to which people call their home. Relationships have been forged and bonds have been made. You've definitely earned the respect of everyone in the Clan.
I don't plan to change much in ConFed, things are going pretty smoothly. I believe fixing the Keepers, continuing on with recruiting and regular Events, will put ConFed in a good position come Legacy of The Void.
Thank you for everything you've ever done for ConFed and I look forward playing even more games with you.

| Great job being President, Jacobis!
IMO, you were more than a President and a leader; you were a warlord. I was proud to be part of a clan where the leader was one of the best players, and I think you were one of the most skilled clan leaders ConFed ever had. I loved having you as President, because you were fair, non-biased, and made decisions based off of the game itself rather than the politics and drama. I think you did a great job, and was JUST what we needed during that time.
Now Crunchy's the President again, a role he plays better than no other, and a role fit for no other except him. We all know Crunchy will be a great president AGAIN, so my support goes to both of you guys as well as JCOS and HC. Good luck guys! Let's make 2015 the Year of ConFed!
