| We've been working diligently on coming up with new ideas for events to fill out calendar. In response to this calling, I've taken several moments of considering a new format of tournament play that could possibly innovate the realm of competition.....or at least be a possibility for a fun time in ConFed :P ....I present to you, the CAROUSEL TOURNAMENT!
12 PLAYERS will compete in the following format of an FFA-initiated style to bloom 4 competitors to battle it out for the crown!

12 players: ROUND 1: Merry-Go-Round (1st elimination round)
(3) Merry Go Round - Winner advances to ROUND 2
Losers battle in ROUND 1.5 on Overgrowth - Winner advances to ROUND 2. Loser drops out after double elimination.
(3) Merry Go Round - Winner advances to ROUND 2.
Losers battle in ROUND 1.5 on Overgrowth - Winner advances to ROUND 2. Loser drops out after double elimination.
(3) Merry Go Round - Winner advances to ROUND 2
Losers battle in ROUND 1.5 on Overgrowth - Winner advances to ROUND 2. Loser drops out after double elimination.
(3) Merry Go Round - Winner advances to ROUND 2. Loser drops out after double elimination.
Losers battle in ROUND 1.5 on Overgrowth - Winner advances to ROUND 2. Loser drops out after double elimination.
8 PLAYERS left still - ROUND 2 - Foxtrot Labs (or another map suggestion) - Winner of Merry Go Round FFA vs. Winner of Overgrowth (2nd elimination round)
(2) - Winner of Round 1 vs Winner of Round 1.5
Winner advances to Round 3. Loser drops out after double elimination
(2) - Winner of Round 1 vs Winner of Round 1.5
Winner advances to Round 3. Loser drops out after double elimination
(2) - Winner of Round 1 vs Winner of Round 1.5
Winner advances to Round 3. Loser drops out after double elimination
(2) - Winner of Round 1 vs Winner of Round 1.5
Winner advances to Round 3. Loser drops out after double elimination
4 PLAYERS left: Semi-Finals- Deadwing (or other map suggestion idea)
(2) Winner of Round 2 vs. Winner of Round 2
Winner advances to FINALS. Loser drops out after double elimination
2 PLAYERS left: FINALS; King Sejong Station (Heavy lies the head that wears the crown);
After battling it out in a wild FFA, having the chance to comeback, and advancing through other battles, the final 2 players will battle on King Sejong station. The Winner is crowned the champion, and the loser claims 2nd place and is relieved that the Carousel has come to a stop. Please exit the ride carefully!
(2) Winner of Round 3 vs. Winner of Round 3
Winner is crowned CHAMPION. Loser claims 2nd place (2nd place prize should be discussed)

And that's IT! This is the best idea I can come up with for an event. It's unique, original, and thoughtfully analyzed. However, it's very controversial, and will only work if there's people willing to participate AND people willing to help administrate Prizes should be discussed by HC/JCOS, and I myself will command the event with the help of Officers/members willing to help me out.
Please give me your feedback. Do you think this is possible? Will it work logically? Could it be explained in a better way by someone else? Does this sound boring? We need to contribute ideas in order to make this happen, or reject the idea so we can move on with other ideas. I've pitched this tournament idea to other officers in ConFed, and they've given me confidence enough to pitch the idea here. Tell me what you think! Reply to the thread with your honest opinions, ideas, and suggestions on improving the format of this event idea. | Sounds really good! maybe for the final it could be a best of 3 but i dont know if that would be too many matches done at once. Either way, great idea!

| yeah i forgot to mention Finals will be BO3. Start signing up guys! I need volunteers to start spreading the word there's 2 types of people I need:
-Participants
-Tourney admins: admins might become a part of my regular event planning staff. Promotions may be available based off commitment.
