Greetings,

Thank you all for your patience as I have been extremely busy over the past two weeks. I am pleased to announce that I am back and ready to tackle some new obstacles that are being thrown our way. Though, I am most excited to be back and active in the channel as well as Teamspeak. I am proud to be the leader and President of The Confederation!

Below, I am going to outline some recent happenings as well as changes which are coming down the pipeline.

ConFedTV

I've had several people mention the need to really adopt the brand of ConFed and use it for our Twitch, as well as the fact that "ConFedTV" is shorter and easier to remember than "ConFedCommunity". I'll be working on getting this new Twitch up and running as well as some new shiny graphics and branding for it. There will be a formal announcement when we have switched from twitch.tv/ConFedCommunity to Twitch.tv/ConFedTV.

Cool Features:
-Streaming Clan Wars / Tournaments
-Streaming Big Tournament Replays / Video and having a dedicated TS channel to discuss it
-Non-SC2 Event: "Movie Night" - Stream a movie late at night (Up for debate)
-Keepers Streaming

Keepers / Keeper Academy

I am pleased to announce the recent promotion of Jacobis to Sky Marshall. He is now incharge of our Keepers as well as Keeper Academy. His extensive knowledge of team management as well as the competitive side of SC2 will help get our Keepers back on track. Please salute Jacobis on his most recent promotion, he has been a huge asset to the clan.

Cadet Academy

In the next two weeks, our Cadet Academy will be receiving a major update which will help bridge the gap between when the Academy was created and today's ConFed. We are doing this to make sure those new members are learning the "right" information about ConFed before they join.

Confederation Policy Advisor Appointed

I have created a new High Command position of CPA, Confederation Policy Advisor. JDman will serve as the first CPA in Confederation history. His role will be to ensure that ConFed remains adaptable to the ever changing SC2 environment and that all policies proposed by High Command and JCOS leave the tradition of ConFed intact. Additionally, he will help ensure our JCOS (leadership team) remains strong and active. Please salute him on this newest promotion!

ConFed Summer 2014

Get excited for a Summer of ConFed events that you will not forget! If you are interested in offering suggestions or ideas for events, please contact a High Command member. Additionally, if you would like to help host an event, please let me know!

LOB Clan War Hub

The Confederation has joined in partnership with Legion of Boom to actively participate in their Clan War directory. This will enable us to actively communicate better with other clans as well as find Clan Wars across the board, not just for our Master level players. This is sorta replacing the Unity League, as that idea has been put on hold for the time being (so it appears).

If you are unable to donate financially, you may still contribute by helping cast, hosting an event, or doing website/graphic design. Speaking of cadet academy, it says somewhere along the process of inscription that if the clan have already a 100 members, you will be put on a waiting list. Knowing you had more than 100, I almost choose not to register. I think it could be nice to change it. And thanks for your contribution by the way!
