| So I came across this, I don't think I will personally use it but apparently some pros do. Its pretty different from anything else out there but they claim its the best, most efficient layout out there.

| I do want to take every advantage possible - BUT...
I changed all my cameras f1-f4, so they are easy, Jacobis helped me switch my Land/Lift over to my left hand, so that's easy, switched my base toggle to '`', so that's easy, I have 2 buttons on my DeathAdder bound to control groups 9 and 0, so the hardest reach in the game for me is control group 8, which I hardly ever use anyway. It's all on my left hand, and although I'm not perfect at it, - I don't feel like the energy it would take to switch + the core's potential = better results than if I just continued to improve my current setup from here. I'm on the lookout for bad habits and I know I can be good with it. Besides, plenty of pros also don't use the core ;P

| I'm actually using the core myself, have been for about 3 weeks. It still feels a little weird, but someone who is able to play more would get it faster. I am starting to "feel" the potential it has not just knowing it. I have a total of 8 cam keys I can use, that are with a very easy reach. The hardest part for me to get used to is the overlaying hotkeys, for example: (keep in mind i'm right handed, and so use the right side of the keyboard, per the hotkey layout, it's more ergonomically as your hands are closer together) Alt p sets my main base cam, shift p recalls my base came; ctrl shift p sets my cc/ebay/armory hotkey, ctrl p adds to it, and just hitting p recalls it.

| The one thing I was worried about with the core layout is that it would be bad for your hand and wrist health

| It is actually designed to be the most efficient and ergonomical layout available.

| I think dragon uses the core layout. Watching his hands while streaming looks completely different from say Demuslim, who definitely uses standard. That being said, Dragon still jumps across the keyboard to hit 'L' for lift and land, while demuslim will jump across the keyboard for 'P' for planetary fortress. I guess the point is that the 'most' efficient and ergonomical layouts are honestly what you are most comfortable with. Most pros have some type of customized setup, it's usually not 100% standard or 100% core.
it's really interesting to watch though - if I had heard about the core sooner, I may have attempted to make the switch..

| Hey one thing to check out if you are using a new hotkey setup is the HOTS hotkey trainer 1.2 in the arcade. It tests everything so you get good at all the hotkeys not just the ones you use more often in games. Check it out.

| I use all the hotkeys, I have them all memorized. I probably couldn't tell you the later tier units hotkeys right off the top of my head, but I know most of them. Also, the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard is amazing. You can make your own hotkeys, including allowing one press of a key to commit to many different actions. Such as: 1A 2DD 3SS 4BB
Something along those lines, like hotkey 1, then builds one marine. Hotkey 2, then builds two marauders. Hotkey 3, then builds two siege tanks. Hotkey 4, Two battlecruisers.

| I am still waiting on the core 2.0 for zerg. Suppose to be out weeks ago, however, there are still glitches. Will start playing when the new setup is done

| The Core didn't really impress me when I used it, although I did understand the point. I just wasn't able to get the full functionality out of it so I lost faith with it.
