@100 gas. Start zergling speed

@50 gas. Start a baneling nest.
Make 1 set of lings to sit on ramp in case of ling pressure (to be turned into banes)
Once you have 16 drones in your main (this should happen either right before you have 100 gas mined or right as you’re pulling drones out of your gas geyser) rally ALL of your drones to your natural.
Make one additional queens once your second and third finish (you will have to cut making drones for a short while to make this happen most likely). These will be for spreading creep and assisting in defending.
@100 gas, make a evo change to start +1 carapace. If you scout him with an evo, go for +1 missile instead.

@150 gas. Start lair and roach warren. Take two more extractors as well.
You should continue droning until you have 16 drones mining minerals in your main and 16 drones mining minerals at your natural.** (the asterisk is because you can opt to make a handful of lings (anywhere from 10-18) to attempt to take map control and put pressure on his base/possibly newly started 3rd. You can try to catch him off gaurd and do a run by if you want. This is an option I usually do, but if you are not comfortable with microing and macroing then I would just continue droning and not worry about this step as much. However, if they are putting on a lot of ling pressure, you may be forced to make the zerglings anyway, as to not lose drones.)

Once you have 16 drones at each base mining minerals, start your third base (anywhere from 6:30 - 7:30 game time) Your lair and roach warren should finish around the same time. take your 4th gas and start roach speed. Keep droning and rally to 3rd.
If you've scouted a spire, immediately drop your infestation pit. Make 2 spores in main, 1 in natural minerals and 2 at 3rd. Make 3 more queens. Grab +1 missile or +2 missile. Drop hydra den after infestors are out.

| I don't understand why if he doesnt have an evo chamber, you get +1 carapace. From what I can understand, not getting an evo chamber implies a commitment to lings. Is this correct? +1 attack roaches kill zerglings much much faster, and it is much more useful than +1 carapace. Can you explain why I would get +1 carapace if I dont see an evo first?
